Licensing Administrator

REPORTS TO:  Licensing Manager


Effectively and efficiently work in the Licensing Department to help employees and brokers in placing business with OCI and it’s partner carriers.


  1. Ensure correct data is accurately entered into our proprietary software.
  2. Look for additional ways to streamline processes to assist our clientele.
  3. Troubleshoot inquiries from brokers and work with internal staff to explore all options.
  4. Update carrier appointments and broker licenses in internal systems.
  5. Work with internal staff to welcome new agents into the OCI network.
  6. Attention to detail and accuracy in document production and online administration.
  7. Conduct monthly audits to monitor commissions paid to OCI and agents.
  8. Effectively process administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, etc.
  9. Work on special projects as assigned by manager.
  10. Participate in product presentations sponsored by carriers.


  1. Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
  2. Ability to communicate with clients, business contacts, and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner.
  1. Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks on a timely basis.
  2. Self-starter who is comfortable working with and manipulating numbers.
  1. Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.


  1. 95% sitting.
  2. Some standing to scan or use office equipment.
