Sales Executive Darwin “DC” Couch has joined OCI’s Brokerage Division. DC will be helping brokers expand their financial risk product offerings.
Darwin “DC” Couch began as a career agent with Farm Bureau Insurance of Kansas. After a couple of years of personal production he was named Agency Manager in western Kansas in charge of production, recruiting, and management of the agency. He ran multiple agencies for the company before taking on the role of Regional Sales Manager. During that time, his region went from last place in life/annuity production to the number one position. He was then asked to take over an agency, in Johnson county Kansas, to develop and grow production for the company. Building it from scratch, he took the agency to multiple awards in a 15 state area, including Agency of the year. He then left to start his own practice, which included a group benefits division. DC was recruited by an Independent Marketing Organization (IMO) to develop a new life insurance division.
DC is well respected in the industry and has been for over 25 years. His knowledge and insight are appreciated by the agents that have worked with him as illustrated by Jay Hepler, CEO, Hepler Benefit Solutions. “DC has really helped in bringing sales ideas to my health agency.
